1. General Information

SchichtHappens (the "App") is designed with a focus on data privacy and "offline-first" principles. This policy explains how your data is handled.

2. Data Frugality & Storage

• Local Storage: All shift data, schedules, notes, and settings are stored exclusively in a local SQLite/Room database on your mobile device.
• No Central Server: We do not operate any backend systems. Your data is never transmitted to our servers.
• No Tracking/Ads: The App does not use analytics tools (like Firebase Analytics), tracking frameworks, or advertisements.

3. Google Drive Sync (Optional Premium Feature)

The App offers an optional synchronization via Google Drive for Pro users.

• Scope: The App uses the scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.appdata. This is restricted to the hidden "App Data Folder".
• Purpose: A backup file (backup.shbackup) is stored to sync data between devices or restore it after a reinstallation.
• Encryption: Files are encrypted locally using AES-256-GCM before being uploaded. Only your App instance holds the keys (stored in the Android Keystore).
• Limited Use: The use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. Permissions

• Calendar (READ/WRITE): Used only to export shifts to your local calendar at your request. No private data is collected or transmitted.
• Internet Access: Required for Google Drive synchronization.
• Storage/Files: Required for manual export/import of local backup files.

5. Your Rights

You have full control over your data. You can delete your backups in Google Drive or delete all local data by uninstalling the App. For inquiries, contact the email provided above.

2. Grundprinzip: Offline-First & Datensparsamkeit

• Lokale Speicherung: Alle Schichtdaten, Dienstpläne und Notizen werden ausschließlich in einer gesicherten lokalen Datenbank (SQLite/Room) auf Ihrem Gerät gespeichert.
• Keine zentrale Erhebung: Es findet keine Übertragung Ihrer Daten an unsere Server statt.
• Kein Tracking & Keine Werbung: Wir verwenden keine Analyse-Tools und schalten keine Werbung.

3. Google Drive API (Cloud-Backup & Synchronisierung)

Für Premium-Nutzer bietet die App eine optionale Synchronisierung über Google Drive an.

• Umfang (Scope): Zugriff nur auf den versteckten Anwendungsdatenordner (drive.appdata).
• Verschlüsselung: Alle Backups werden vor dem Upload lokal mittels AES-256-GCM verschlüsselt. Die Schlüssel werden sicher im Android Keystore System verwaltet.
• Google API Policy: Die Nutzung von Informationen aus Google-APIs erfolgt in Übereinstimmung mit der Google API Services User Data Policy.

4. Berechtigungen

• Kalender: Ermöglicht den Export von Schichtterminen in Ihren lokalen Kalender. Es werden keine privaten Termine ausgelesen oder gespeichert.
• Internet: Notwendig für die Kommunikation mit der Google Drive API.
• Dateizugriff: Notwendig für den manuellen Export/Import lokaler Sicherungen.

5. Rechte der Nutzer

Sie haben die volle Kontrolle: Backups in Google Drive können jederzeit gelöscht werden. Durch Deinstallation der App werden alle lokalen Daten unwiderruflich gelöscht. Sie haben das Recht auf Auskunft, Berichtigung oder Löschung Ihrer Daten (Art. 15-17 DSGVO).
